Dickinson College is seeking an Audiovisual Support Specialist to design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot A/V systems across campus. You will support multimedia production, training, and documentation for faculty, staff and students, including video conferencing and webcasting.
An Associate’s degree in a related field is required, with 1–3 years of experience preferred and an Extron Control Professional Certificate to be earned within six months.

Academic Technology Services
The Audiovisual Support Specialist provides technical support for audiovisual systems, multimedia production, and learning spaces across campus. This position designs, installs, maintains, and troubleshoots A/V equipment and control systems; provides training and documentation for faculty, staff, and students; and supports video conferencing, webcasting, and multimedia production. The role also researches and recommends A/V equipment and supplies and provides consultation on presentation technology and equipment purchases. The position works independently within established practices and collaborates with campus partners to ensure reliable, effective audiovisual technology for teaching, presentations, events, and other campus needs. An Associate’s degree in a related field and 1–3 years of relevant experience are required, with equivalent professional experience considered in place of some or all educational requirements. An Extron Control Professional Certificate is required within the first six months of employment.
Academic Audiovisual Support. Training for video, audio and multimedia production. 10% Learning Spaces Audiovisual Support. Design, installation, replacement and maintenance of A/V equipment. Provide support, training and documentation on the use of A/V equipment. A/V control system programming. 45% Provide support and training for self-service video and audio conferences and webcasts. 10% Multimedia Production. Video editing, media conversion, dubbing. 10% Research, recommend and order supplies and A/V equipment. 15 Provide consulting services for presentation and equipment procurement. 10% Other Duties & Responsibilities Other duties as determined or assigned.
