Job summary

Dickinson College in Carlisle seeks an Audiovisual Support Specialist to design, install, maintain, troubleshoot classroom and learning-space AV systems. You will support video conferencing, webcasting, and multimedia production, and provide training and documentation for faculty, staff, and students.

A two-year Associate’s degree in a related field is required with 1–3 years of relevant experience; Bachelor’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate or higher education in audiovisual tech required; 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred
• Extron Control Certificate must be obtained within the first six months of employment
• Experience supporting classroom or learning-space AV systems is valued

Responsibilities

• Design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot audiovisual equipment and control systems across campus
• Provide training and documentation for faculty, staff, and students
• Support video conferencing, webcasting, and multimedia production
• Research and recommend A/V equipment and supplies; assist with procurement
• Provide consultancy on presentation technology and equipment purchases
