Job summary

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Classified Cloud & Platform Engineer to design, secure, and sustain systems supporting classified computing environments including DoD IL5+.

You’ll work with ISSMs/ISSOs and Cybersecurity to modernize hybrid and air-gapped infrastructure, develop IaC with Terraform/Ansible, and implement secure connectivity across Windows and Linux platforms.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance (including program-specific access).
• DoD 8140-compliant cybersecurity workforce qualification relevant to the role (IAT Level II or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with classified, air-gapped, or restricted government systems.
• Experience with JSIG/classified authorization processes and RMF/DAAPM requirements.
• Strong engineering and administration skills across Windows, Linux, virtualization, storage, and core infra services.
• Experience with DoD IL5+ environments or authorized classified cloud services and secure on-prem connectivity.
• Experience with system hardening, DISA STIGs, vulnerability remediation, patch management, and baselines.
• IaC and automation with Terraform/Ansible, scripting with PowerShell/Python.

Responsibilities

• Assess, design, modernize, and sustain classified cloud, hybrid, and on-prem infrastructure with focus on reliability and security.
• Engineer government cloud infrastructure including DoD IL5+ environments and secure connectivity to on-prem systems.
• Develop IaC, automation, and configuration management using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python.
• Design, deploy, and sustain Windows and Linux systems, virtualization, and remote access services.
• Establish hardened images, baselines, patching, vulnerability remediation, and compliance validation for endpoints and servers.
• Collaborate with ISSMs, ISSOs, Cybersecurity to meet RMF/JSIG requirements and maintain security evidence.
• Set engineering and operational standards for change control, configuration management, monitoring, logging, backup, and incident response.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to plan migrations, remediate deficiencies, and shape modernization roadmap.
