Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Classified Platform Engineer to serve as the technical lead for our classified software team. You will design and build platform services and user-facing apps, enabling multi-level classified computing in air-gapped environments, from architecture to DevSecOps pipelines.

This hands-on role puts you in the driver seat to set patterns, establish standards, and grow the team. You will work with Cybersecurity, Systems, and Infra to deliver secure, compliant solutions

Qualifications

• Production web applications experience with React and TypeScript, including complex operator workflows.
• Backend services development in Go.
• Relational databases design, migrations, and performance (PostgreSQL or CockroachDB).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker/Podman, Kubernetes) and GitOps CI/CD in Agile.
• Linux OS experience (RHEL/Rocky/Ubuntu).
• Technical leadership: owning architecture, reviewing designs, guiding small teams, documenting decisions.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a US Top Secret Clearance; DoD 8140/8570 certs may be required.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical lead for the classified software and platform team; set architecture standards and tradeoffs.
• Design and build production web apps in React and Go operating air-gapped in classified environments.
• Develop and manage S3 storage APIs and policies.
• Build admin/operator interfaces and design datastores for authorization decisions and audit logs.
• Own the DevSecOps path to production; containerize and deploy to Kubernetes via GitOps pipelines.
• Decompose programs into deliverable work and mentor team members through reviews and pairing.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, PM, and business stakeholders to turn requirements into a plan delivered on time.
