The Florida Department of Corrections seeks a Senior Clerk-F/C (Classification) for Avon Park Correctional Institution, in the Classification Department. • Obtaining official transcripts may be required if selected for the position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare correspondence, memorandums, and essential forms and documents.
• Maintain inmate files, conduct audits on new inmates, and prepare necessary forms.
• Input data into the CDC database, retrieve information, and maintain classification documentation.
• Receive, date stamp, sort, and distribute mail; copy, scan, and fax documents.
• Provide customer service by answering calls, aiding inmate families, and handling special projects.
