Job summary

Hawaiian Housewares, LLC is seeking an experienced Professional Driver to join our team in Hawaii. You will start with comprehensive training through the C&S Professional Driver Training Program and progress to safely delivering products while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations.

The role features a 1st shift (Mon-Fri, some weekends), starting pay of $33 per hour, and a $6,000 sign-on bonus. Benefits begin on day one, including medical, dental, and vision, plus a company-matched 401k.

Qualifications

• DOT Certification and Class A CDL required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid DOT physical and compliance with FMCSR/DOT policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (semi-truck/eighteen-wheeler/box truck) to transport and deliver product.
• Load and unload (ambient or temperature-controlled) with 3–10 stops per day.
• Inspect, document, and ensure equipment is operable per regulatory and company requirements.
• Travel as required.

Position Overview

C&S Wholesale Grocers desires to create the most safe, efficient, and service forward fleet in the country. As a Professional Driver with C&S Wholesale Grocers, you will start your driving career with the company by working with a Professional Driver Trainer (PDT) who will provide coaching and insight on the C&S Way which includes company and regulatory requirements. Once you have successfully completed our new hire training program, you will maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through deliveries of product and services while performing all other assigned duties. All functions must be completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

• Utilizing the specialized skills developed with experience and the C&S Professional Driver Training Program, you will operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (semi-truck/eighteen-wheeler/box truck, etc…), applying knowledge of training and commercial driving regulations, to transport and safely deliver product
• Driver will load and unload (ambient or temperature sensitive) product to customers on an average of 3-10 stops per day
• Driver will inspect, document and ensure equipment is operable in compliance with all regulatory and company requirements
• Inspect equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements

Skills

Years Of Experience

• 1-2 : Minimum 1 year of recent tractor-trailer experience
