Oak Harbor Freight Lines, Inc. is seeking a Box Truck/Straight Truck Pickup and Delivery Driver in Washington state. This role involves driving 24’–26’ box trucks, loading with liftgates, and delivering to customers Monday–Friday with weekends off.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Standard Driver’s license.
• Valid DOT Medical Certification
• Must have a clean driving record. No DUI or positive drug/alcohol screen in the past 3 years
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers, co-workers, and supervisor/ management team.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate box trucks/ straight trucks of different sizes
• Adapting to challenging conditions like inclement weather and various road conditions
• Ability to meet the company’s dependability standards for employees
• Ability to chain as needed and to work in inclement weather as required
• Availability to work weekends and / or nights if needed
• Other duties as assigned

Job Description

This position involves driving 24’ to 26’ box trucks/ straight trucks deliveries and pickups involve using liftgates, power pallet jacks, and other provided equipment to move freight at customer locations. Our drivers work Monday – Friday with weekends off.
