Safety-Kleen in La Porte, TX is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver

This role involves driving a Class B box truck to provide onsite service for parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell products/services along a designated route.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize health and safety by adhering to all safe work practices, policies, and procedures.
• Visit 10-12 customer sites daily.
• Service parts washer machines and remove sediment from sinks.
• Upsell products/services and generate new leads in the field.
• Service automotive repair, fleet, and manufacturing businesses.
• Complete scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups promptly.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Operate vehicles safely according to U.S. DOT and other requirements.
• Follow all environmental health and safety guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Obtain Hazmat/Tanker certification upon hire.
• Operate automatic restrictions if applicable.
• Perform general labor, including moving drums from 5 lbs to 800 lbs using hand carts, dollies, and pallet jacks.
• Work 10-12 hour days.
• Earn uncapped commissions.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Class B CDL license.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks as required.
• Successful background check, drug test, and physical exam.
• Meet OSHA facial hair standards for respirator use.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in customer service.
• Experience with commercial route driving (Class C or Non-CDL).
