Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking an enthusiastic driver with a Class B license to operate a 26 ft box truck in the Walton, KY area. You will collect and deliver medical waste containers from healthcare locations while delivering high levels of customer service daily.

This full-time role offers benefits from day one, potential overtime, and a direct hire arrangement. The position runs first shift, with 40–50 hours per week and a set rate of $25.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B license with clean driving record and DOT medical card.
• Minimum 3 years experience operating a 26 ft box truck.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours and roadside inspections.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Strong customer service focus and proven longevity in past roles.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 26 ft box truck safely.
• Collect, deliver and store medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Provide strong customer service and build customer relationships.
• Deliver to schedule and communicate changes clearly.
• Load, unload and organize truck per schedule.
• Comply with DOT regulations and conduct logging and inspections.
• Handle touch freight duties as required.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver with a Class B license and experience driving large trucks to utilize your experience across the Walton, KY area. What will your job involve?

• Operating 26 ft box truck in a safe manner
• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!

What are we looking for?

• Class B license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
• Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 foot box truck
• Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
• TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!!
