Modern Builders Supply (MBS) is seeking a CDL B Driver in Kentucky to deliver siding, windows and doors to jobsites and support rooftop deliveries. You will load/unload materials, maintain logs, and ensure safe operation of equipment.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL B and be able to obtain or maintain it.
• Willing to load/move materials on rooftops as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a customer focus.
• Capable of physical work and safe lifting.

Responsibilities

• Drive to transport and deliver siding, windows, and doors to jobsite.
• Load and unload materials and maintain vehicle equipment supplies.
• Fill customer orders and maintain vehicle logs.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle and equipment.
• Assist rooftop deliveries by stocking roofs with shingles via crane or conveyor.
• Perform general warehouse work and upkeep as needed.

As a CDL B Driver on our team, a few of your duties will include:

• driving vehicle to transport and deliver siding, windows, and doors to jobsite
• loading and unloading materials
• filling customer’s orders
• inspecting and maintaining vehicle equipment and supplies
• maintaining records such as vehicle logs
• assisting rooftop deliveries by stocking residential roofs with shingles via crane or conveyor
• general warehouse work including maintenance and upkeep of the warehouse and facilities as needed

Job Requirements/Qualifications

A successful CDL B Driver candidate must be career-oriented, have initiative, ambition, and a strong interest and desire to learn the business from the ground up.

• Must have, or be willing and able to obtain, a CDL B
• Must be willing and able to get on rooftops to load and move materials
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills with an emphasis toward customer satisfaction
• Capable of physical work
