Job summary

Modern Builders Supply is seeking a CDL B Boom Truck Driver to transport and deliver roofing, siding, windows, and doors to job sites. You will load and unload materials, fill customer orders, and maintain vehicle logs. The role may require rooftop loading using crane or conveyor and general warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a CDL B and be willing to obtain or maintain it.
• Ability to work on rooftops to load and move materials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Drive CDL B Boom Truck to transport and deliver roofing, siding, windows, and doors to job sites.
• Load and unload materials and fill customer orders.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle equipment and supplies; maintain vehicle logs.
• Assist rooftop deliveries by stocking residential roofs with shingles via crane or conveyor.
• Perform general warehouse duties and upkeep as needed.

As a CDL B Boom Truck Driver on our team, a few of your duties will include:

• driving vehicle to transport and deliver roofing, siding, windows, and doors to jobsite
• loading and unloading materials
• filling customers orders
• inspecting and maintaining vehicle equipment and supplies
• maintaining records such as vehicle logs
• assisting rooftop deliveries by stocking residential roofs with shingles via crane or conveyor
• general warehouse work including maintenance and upkeep of the warehouse and facilities as needed

Job Requirements/Qualifications

A successful CDL B Boom Truck Driver candidate must be career-oriented, have initiative, ambition, and a strong interest and desire to learn the business from the ground up.

• Must have, or be willing and able to obtain, a CDL B
• Must be willing and able to get on rooftops to load and move materials
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills with an emphasis toward customer satisfaction
• Capable of physical work
