Morgan & Morgan in Tampa seeks a Class Action Associate Attorney with 2+ years' experience to join its growing class action group. You will handle a heavy and complex caseload of federal and state cases involving unfair business practices, consumer protection, and privacy statutes.

The ideal candidate has a law degree, is in good standing with the State Bar, and possesses strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills, with a client-focused approach and a proven track record in complex

Qualifications

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the State Bar Association.
• Minimum 2+ years' of class action experience with trial, deposition and motions.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of state and federal class action cases in various stages.
• Investigation, drafting and filing of litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests and memoranda.
• Guiding clients through the case process.
• Interacting with expert witnesses and preparation of reports.
• Preparing for and attending depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
