Job summary

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. seeks a Mass Tort Litigation Attorney to handle a range of litigation responsibilities including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, preparing clients and witnesses, and coordinating with paralegals.

This role can sit in any of our offices in the United States. Requirements include a JD, at least 2 years supporting litigation matters, and experience with CM/ECF, PACER, Westlaw, and Litify.

Qualifications

• JD required and bar admission in at least one state.
• Minimum 2 years supporting mass tort or complex litigation.
• Experience drafting pleadings and managing discovery.
• Proficient with litigation management software.
• Ability to mentor junior staff is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute litigation strategy for assigned mass tort matters with lead counsel.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, amendments, and motions as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with case management orders and scheduling orders.
• Monitor MDL/coordinated proceedings and translate to action items.
• Provide direction to paralegals/case managers and review work product.
• Identify liability and damages proof and coordinate supporting documentation.
• Assess venue and jurisdiction for filing based on applicable rules.
• Support settlement efforts and coordinate client communications.
