5 Star Electric, LLC (5 Star) is seeking a Class A OH Distribution Lineman for on-site work in Kentucky, including Louisville/Clay. The role involves maintaining and repairing distribution lines, working on energized and de-energized equipment, and upholding safety standards.

Applicants should have four years of experience, a valid Class A CDL and medical examiner card, and be prepared for on-call and potential travel obligations. OSHA 10 certification is preferred.

Qualificações

• Four (4) years of experience or equivalent hours.
• Must have a valid Class A CDL and current medical examiner card.
• Ability to climb poles and work in a variety of weather conditions.
• Criminal and MVR background checks and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsabilidades

• Thorough knowledge of methods, practices and equipment of electrical line work.
• Operate energized and de-energized lines and equipment.
• Climbs poles and performs work at heights.
• Sets and connects transformers and other distribution equipment.
• Responds to work orders for outages and repairs.
• Maintains tools and equipment and ensures safety standards.
