Job summary

Mead Lumber Company Inc in Grandview, MO is seeking a Class A Driver to safely deliver building materials to customer job sites. You will operate company trucks, load/unload materials, verify orders, and provide outstanding customer service while adhering to DOT regulations and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Class A license with a clean driving record.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Proficient with basic computer and calculator.
• Able to lift up to 70 pounds and work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and unload building materials to customer job sites.
• Load trucks according to sales orders and secure loads.
• Perform vehicle inspections and follow DOT regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues.
• Maintain yard cleanliness and assist with loading as needed.
• Record delivery information and communicate customer messages.

Valid Class A license
