Job summary

Mead Lumber in Kearney, NE is seeking a dedicated Class A Driver to safely deliver building materials to customer sites. You will load, secure, and unload loads, verify accuracy with the yard manager, and maintain professional customer interactions while adhering to safety rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Class A driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and unload materials at customer job sites, ensuring satisfaction.
• Load trucks according to the sales invoice and materials list.
• Verify load accuracy with the yard manager before departure.
• Operate company trucks and forklifts safely and follow all traffic laws.
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns promptly.
• Perform vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, organized yard.
