Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking a professional CDL driver to operate tractor-trailers in a safe and compliant manner. You will complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate logs, and adhere to FMCSA regulations while delivering freight to customers.

The role requires a Class A license, HazMat/Tanker endorsements, and the ability to work independently in varying conditions. You will interact with customers and support dock operations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience
• 21 years of age and 1 year driving experience
• Valid Class A CDL required
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registration required
• Must reside within 75 miles of the service center
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required
• Must pass FMCSA medical exam and road test
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer in accordance with FMCSA rules and company policies
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment
• Maintain logs and records as required by local, state and federal regulations
• Provide safe and courteous service to customers and the public
• Report maintenance issues promptly to Fleet Services
