Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking a professional CDL driver to operate tractor/trailer equipment and safely transport freight in compliance with FMCSA regulations. The role requires adherence to safety standards, completion of inspections, and potential dock duties based on business needs.

The candidate must hold a valid Class A CDL, Hazmat endorsement, and meet FMCSA requirements, including drug testing and a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center and/or work assignment.
• Hazmat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.

Responsibilities

• Operate all types of equipment safely and perform required safety functions.
• Transport freight following FMCSA regulations and company policies.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Maintain compliance with FMCSA hours-of-service and other regulations.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers and the public.
• Assist with loading/unloading freight and dock work as needed.
• Maintain secure equipment and cargo and meet safety standards.
