Job summary

Bunzl North America is seeking Drivers in Indianapolis for 2nd shift starting at 4am, earning $26/hr, Monday through Friday with weekly pay. You will safely operate Class A tractor-trailers, perform vehicle inspections, and deliver goods to customer locations both locally and long-distance while maintaining logs and providing excellent customer service.

Required: Valid Class A CDL, clean driving record, ability to operate various commercial vehicles, lift up to 30 pounds, knowledge of DOT

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record per fleet safety standards.
• Ability to operate Class A tractor-trailer and other commercial vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and assist with loading/unloading.
• Pass background check and drug test; maintain active medical card.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicle.

2nd Shift Start Time 4am Start Time | $26/hr. | Monday-Friday | Paid Weekly.

A Day in the Life

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Deliver goods in a timely and safe manner to customer locations, both local and long-distance.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and ensure timely submission of logs and paperwork.
• Manage cargo loading/unloading, ensuring items are safely secured.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained, reporting any issues to management immediately.

The Must-Haves

• Valid Class A CDL.
• A clean driving record, based on our fleet safety standards.
• Ability to operate and navigate a variety of commercial vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and handle loading/unloading responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best driving practices.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to pass background check, drug tests, and maintain an active medical card.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance

What We Prefer

• At least 2 years of Driving experience.
• Experience with GPS and routing software.
