Job summary

Bunzl plc is seeking a professional driver to safely operate Class A trucks and deliver goods locally and long-distance. You will complete inspections, maintain logs, and ensure on-time delivery while upholding safety standards.

We offer competitive pay at $30.50/hr with overtime, access to earned wages before payday, and a full benefits package, including health plans, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record required.
• Ability to operate and navigate a variety of commercial vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform loading/unloading.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, ELD and DOT compliance.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Able to pass background checks, drug tests, and maintain an active medical card.

Job description

Start Time 4am | $30.50/hr

A Day in the Life

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Deliver goods in a timely and safe manner to customer locations, both local and long-distance.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and ensure timely submission of logs and paperwork.
• Manage cargo loading/unloading, ensuring items are safely secured.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained, reporting any issues to management immediately.

The Must-Haves

• Valid Class A CDL.
• A clean driving record, based on our fleet safety standards.
• Ability to operate and navigate a variety of commercial vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and handle loading/unloading responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best driving practices.

Preferred Requirements

• At least 2 years of Driving experience.
• Experience with GPS and routing software.

Pay Transparency Statement

This role is paid on an hourly basis. The minimum of the posted range reflects the base hourly rate annualized over a standard 40‑hour workweek (2,080 hours). The upper end of the range reflects potential total annualized earnings, which may include overtime based on workload, business needs, and individual availability. Actual compensation is paid hourly and may vary.
