Job summary

Bunzl North America is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver goods nationwide with an overnight schedule and a $1,500 sign-on bonus. Pay ranges from $28 to $30 per hour based on experience, with a full benefits package.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, load/unload, maintain logs, and provide excellent customer service while adhering to safety and DOT regulations on local and long-distance routes.

• Maintains a clean driving record per fleet safety standards.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a Class A tractor-trailer or other CMV.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

• Maintain logs and paperwork; ensure cargo secure loading/unloading.
• Provide excellent customer service and adhere to safety policies.

A Day in the Life

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Deliver goods in a timely and safe manner to customer locations, both local and long-distance.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and ensure timely submission of logs and paperwork.
• Manage cargo loading/unloading, ensuring items are safely secured.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained, reporting any issues to management immediately.

The Must-Haves

• Valid Class A CDL.
• A clean driving record, based on our fleet safety standards.
• Ability to operate and navigate a variety of commercial vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and handle loading/unloading responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best driving practices.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to pass background check, drug tests, and maintain an active medical card.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance

Preferred Requirements

• At least 2 years of Driving experience.
• Experience with GPS and routing software.
