Job summary

Bunzl plc is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our distribution team in Little Rock, AR. The role starts on a early morning shift with a $25 per hour rate and weekly pay. You will safely operate Class A commercial vehicles, perform inspections, and deliver goods to local and long-distance customer locations.

Applicants should have a valid Class A CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass background checks and drug tests. DOT/ELD compliance and GPS routing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• CDL required with clean driving record and ability to pass background/drug tests.
• Ability to pass DOT regulations and maintain an active medical card.
• Experience navigating GPS/routing software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Deliver goods in a timely and safe manner to customer locations, both local and long-distance.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and ensure timely submission of logs and paperwork.
• Manage cargo loading/unloading, ensuring items are safely secured.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained, reporting any issues to management immediately.

2:00-5:00am Start Time | $25 per hour | Paid Weekly

A Day in the Life

The Must-Haves

• Valid Class A CDL.

• Ability to operate and navigate a variety of commercial vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and handle loading/unloading responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best driving practices.Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to pass background check, drug tests, and maintain an active medical card.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance

What We Prefer

• At least 2 years of Driving experience.
• Experience with GPS and routing software.
