Charlie's Produce in Irwindale, CA is seeking a full-time CDL A delivery driver to ensure safe, on-time delivery of produce to customers across the Greater Los Angeles area. The role requires early-morning shifts, weekend work, and strong customer service to support our growing West Coast operation.

You will verify invoices, unload with a hand truck, and maintain accurate records while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of driving experience preferred.
• Valid CDL Class A and medical card required.
• Ability to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs during shifts.
• Must read and understand English per DOT.

Responsibilities

• Deliver produce safely to customers in the Greater LA area.
• Check invoices upon delivery and collect payment for COD.
• Handle pallets with hand truck and provide friendly service.
• Maintain a flexible, team-oriented attitude and perform other duties.

Job Description

The Role

You will be primarily responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of produce to customers throughout the Greater Los Angeles area.

Schedule: Days, early morning hours, full-time, split days off, includes weekends and holidays.

• Accurately check invoices as you make deliveries.
• Palletized product will be delivered to customers with hand truck.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Perform superior customer service as you interact with customers at each delivery.
• Assist in issuing credit memos and collecting payment for COD customers.
• Promote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented, and customer-focused attitude with colleagues.
• All other duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications

• Be 23 yrs. or older due to insurance requirements
• 1+ year of driving experience highly preferred
• Valid Class A CDL and medical card Interstate qualification, registered
• Demonstrated ability to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs. throughout shift
• Per DOT rules, applicant should have the ability to read and understand English
