Job summary

Charlie’s Produce is seeking a full-time delivery driver to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of produce to customers throughout the Greater Los Angeles area. You will verify invoices, load pallets, and provide excellent customer service during each delivery.

This role requires a valid Class A CDL with medical card, 1+ year driving experience preferred, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and English reading ability. Work days include early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Be 23 yrs. or older due to insurance requirements.
• 1+ year of driving experience highly preferred.
• Valid CDL Class A and medical card Interstate qualification, registered
• Demonstrated ability to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs. throughout shift
• Per DOT rules, applicant should have the ability to read and understand English

Responsibilities

• Deliver produce to customers throughout the Greater Los Angeles area.
• Check invoices accurately during deliveries.
• Deliver palletized product with hand truck.
• Provide superior customer service at each delivery.
• Assist in issuing credit memos and collecting payment for COD customers.
• Maintain a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented attitude with colleagues.
• Perform all other duties as requested or assigned.

Job Description

The Role

You will be primarily responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of produce to customers throughout the Greater Los Angeles area.
