CalPortland in California is hiring a Double Bottom Dump Driver to transport aggregate and asphalt products to plants and job sites safely. The role requires a Class A CDL with doubles endorsement and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Class A CDL with doubles endorsement required.
• Safe driving record: no more than two moving violations in 24 months; no serious violations in 36 months.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Load material at aggregate plants and transport to other plants or job sites.
• Clean vehicle and tarp loads as needed.
• Report maintenance or adjustments needed.
• Travel to various work locations based on work availability and demand.
• Work flexible hours with potential overtime; exposure to extreme temperatures.
