Job summary

Radius Recycling, Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to transport equipment and materials across supplier, customer, storage, or processing locations. The role emphasizes safety, compliance with DOT regulations, and high-quality, efficient operations in a fast-paced recycling environment.

Qualifications

Must have a valid Class A CDL and be able to obtain a renewed Medical Examiner's Certificate.
Must be registered in the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
No more than two moving violations in the last 3 years.
No more than one preventable accident in the last 3 years.
Ability to use automated systems for logs, dispatch, and reporting.

Responsibilities

Move freight and materials to and from production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, and containers.
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions following signals from loading crew.
Secure material for transport using ropes, blocks, chains, or covers.
Receive instructions from dispatch and proceed to location for delivery or receipt of material.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
Maintain logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status in line with regulations.
Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered materials and verify documentation.
