Job summary

Clayton Homes is seeking a Class A CDL Driver – Toter Driver to transport oversized and overweight loads across the region. Reports to the Terminal Manager and collaborates with Driver Supervisors, Home Center, Manufacturing, and Pilot Escorts to coordinate permits and deliveries.

You will operate and maintain equipment, ensure proper paperwork, and uphold a world-class customer experience during over-the-road delivery and at the retail location. Full-time role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and DOT medical card required.
• Experience transporting oversized/overweight loads.
• Knowledge of DOT compliance and safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Transport oversized and overweight loads safely within the region.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain logs.
• Coordinate with Supervisors and Escorts to plan routes and permits.
• Handle pickup, delivery, and placement at retail locations.
• Ensure timely delivery paperwork and maintain professional appearance of vehicles.
• Report incidents to supervisor and authorities when necessary.
