Job summary

Clayton Homes is seeking a Class A CDL Driver – Toter Driver to transport oversized and overweight loads safely across the region. The role requires maintaining electronic logs, ensuring permits, and delivering strong customer service.

As a CDL-qualified driver, you will work with terminal and escort teams, perform routine maintenance, and uphold DOT compliance while delivering to retail locations with professionalism.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• Extensive experience operating heavy oversized/overweight loads.
• Ability to maintain accurate paperwork and logs.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and compliance with DOT rules.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport oversized loads within the region.
• Operate and maintain equipment and perform daily maintenance checks.
• Coordinate permits with supervisors and escort drivers.
• Prepare and file delivery paperwork promptly after routes.
• Provide world-class customer experience during over-the-road delivery.
• Ensure proper route planning and load securement for each trip.
