AAA Cooper Transportation is seeking full-time Pick-up and Delivery Drivers to ensure on-time, damage-free freight delivery. The role emphasizes safe operation of commercial vehicles, cargo handling, and strong customer relations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 21 years or older.
• Class A Interstate Commercial Drivers' License with hazardous materials and double/triple endorsements.
• One year driving experience required.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Satisfactory background check.
• Pass ACT road test.
• Flexible hours.
• Able to be certified as a forklift operator.
• Familiar with handling hazardous materials procedures.
• Perform duties per company policies and federal/state/local regulations.
• Read, write, speak and understand English well.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Load and unload trailers and move freight across the terminal dock, with or without assistance.
• Record quantity and type of shipments using bills of lading and receipts.
• Maintain records for compliance with regulations.
• Develop and maintain professional relations with customers.
• Hook and unhook trailers from tractors and operate landing gear.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operation.
• Fuel trucks and tractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
