Zusammenfassung

AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL P&D Truck Driver in California. The role involves pickup and delivery across intra- and inter-state routes, with potential loading, unloading, and freight handling.

You will be expected to meet safety standards and regulations while maintaining efficient service at all times. We require a valid CDL-A, DOT medical card, hazmat/tanker/doubles/triples endorsements, and at least one year of tractor-trailer experience.

Qualifikationen

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Valid DOT physical.
• Hazmat, Tanker, Doubles/Triples endorsements required.
• At least 1 year tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Driving record with no more than two moving violations in past 3 years.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Must complete onboarding: drug screening, background check, MVR, PSP review.
• Successful completion of new-hire training, tests, and driving assessments.
• Minimum age 21.

Aufgaben

• Operate commercial vehicles safely while following all state and federal regulations.
• Meet DOT medical standards and maintain valid Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report defects.
• Record ELD, VIR, trips, and dispatch information as required.
• Ensure cargo is properly secured to prevent damage.
• Load and unload freight as needed.
• Maintain communication with dispatch and adhere to schedules.
• Represent the company professionally with customers and team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
