Job summary

AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. is hiring a local Class B P&D driver to operate straight trucks on intra-state routes with occasional cross-state trips.

The role includes pickup and delivery, basic loading/unloading, and strict adherence to safety and compliance standards. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, use company IT equipment to record trip details, and collaborate with dispatch to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Class B CDL and DOT medical certificate.
• Endorsements Hazmat and Tanker required.
• Minimum 1 year of Class B driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no more than two moving violations in 3 years.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial straight trucks safely following all regulations.
• Meet DOT medical standards and maintain Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and report defects.
• Record trip, dispatch and ELD information using company IT equipment.
• Secure cargo and manage loading/unloading as needed.
• Communicate with dispatch to adhere to schedules.
