Job summary

AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL P&D Driver to operate intrastate and interstate routes, with potential for loading/unloading freight as needed. You will follow safety and DOT regulations, complete pre/post-trip checks, and record trip data using company IT systems.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Doubles/Triples endorsements.
• Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must pass onboarding process including drug screening, background check, MVR and PSP review; English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles safely while adhering to state and federal regulations.
• Meet DOT medical standards and maintain a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report defects.
• Record ELD, VIR, trip, and dispatch information with company IT equipment.
• Ensure proper cargo securement to prevent damage during transport.
• Load, unload, and secure freight as required.
• Maintain communication with dispatch and adhere to trip scheduling.
• Exhibit professional conduct and represent the company with customers and team members.
• Other duties as assigned.
