Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years! 200 Company drivers keep families supplied with essential household goods. We operate safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern amenities, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team, strong together, capable of getting things done.

Equipment

- 2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks. Features include ergonomic seats, perfect steering position, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, large built-in refrigerators, auxiliary power units with 3500W inverter, dual antennas, flat-screen TV mount, satellite radios, right-way scales, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges. On-site repair and wash facilities are available.

Pay

- Starting at .55cpm - .58cpm, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pays include detention, layover, and other load-specific compensations. Average weekly pay ranges from $2,600 to $3,200, paid weekly via direct deposit. No holdbacks.

Home Time

- Drivers typically get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days within our operating area. Some drivers may have longer stretches out and receive up to 4 days off. Home time is communicated in advance and honored. Special requests for additional days are accommodated when possible.

Loads & Routes

- 98% of freight originates in Missouri. Over 55% is drop and hook; the rest involves 1 pick-up and 1 drop. We primarily haul dry van and reefer (climate-controlled) loads, mostly in the US middle corridor. No New York City, no force dispatch west of Denver, CO, no ports or borders. Most freight is on major highways, with a mix of contracted dry van and reefer loads. No dedicated routes. Fueling at Pilot/Flying J stations.

Rider & Canine Policies

- Riders: One passenger aged 12 or older, available from day one.
- Canine: $500 fee per pet, with up to 2 small dogs or 1 large dog allowed. Deduction of $100 weekly until paid, non-refundable once the pet is in the truck. No policy for cats, reptiles, or birds.
