About Climate Express

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years. We employ 200 company drivers who keep families across America supplied with essential household goods. Our fleet features safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern amenities, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team, strong and committed to getting things done.

Equipment

2022 or newer Volvo 760 automatic trucks, considered the safest on the road. Features include ergonomically designed seats, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletops, larger built-in refrigerators, auxiliary power units with 3500W inverters, dual antennas, flat-screen TV mounts, satellite radios, right-way scales, and Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges. Maintenance is supported by an on-site repair facility and wash bays.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from .55 to .58 CPM, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pays include detention, layover, and other load-specific compensations. Average weekly pay is between $2,600 and $3,200, paid weekly via direct deposit with no hold on funds.

Home Time

Drivers typically get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days within our operating area. Some drivers may have longer periods out and additional days off, as agreed upon prior to hiring and documented in writing. Flexibility is available for special events and appointments.

Loads & Routes

Most freight (98%) originates in Missouri, with over half being drop and hook. The remaining loads involve one pick-up and one drop. We operate dry van and reefer trailers, primarily within the middle corridor of the US, avoiding NY City, ports, borders, and west of Denver CO. No dedicated routes; drivers run contracted freight on major highways, utilizing Pilot/Flying J fueling stations.

Policies

Passengers: 1 passenger 12 years or older, available from day 1.
Pets: $500 fee for up to 2 small or 1 large dog, with weekly deductions until paid. No policy for cats, reptiles, or birds. Pet policy is non-refundable once the pet is placed in the truck.
