About Climate Express

Our fleet consists of safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern amenities, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team. We are strong. Equipment

2022 or newer Volvo 760 trucks, automatic transmission. Features include ergonomic seats, optimized steering, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, large built-in refrigerator, auxiliary power units with 3500W inverter, dual antennas, flat screen TV mount, satellite radios, right way scales, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges. On-site maintenance and wash bay facilities are available.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from .55 cpm to .58 cpm, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pays include detention, layover, and other load-specific compensations. Average weekly pay is between $2,600 and $3,200, paid weekly via direct deposit. There are no holds on pay.

Home Time

Drivers typically get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days in our running area. Some drivers may stay out longer in outlying areas and receive up to 4 days off. Home time is agreed upon in writing before hiring and can be adjusted based on needs and special events.

Loads & Routes

98% of freight originates in Missouri. Over 55% is drop and hook; the rest is 1 pick-1 drop. We operate dry van and reefer trailers, mostly in the US middle corridor. No New York City, no forced dispatch west of Denver, CO, and no ports or borders. Most freight is on major highways, with a mix of contracted dry van and reefer loads. No dedicated routes. Fueling at Pilot/Flying J stations.

Passenger & Pet Policies

One passenger aged 12 or older is allowed from day one. Pets are permitted with a $500 fee; up to 2 small dogs or 1 large dog, with weekly deductions until paid off. No policies for cats, reptiles, or birds.
