Job summary

Builders FirstSource, the leading supplier of building materials to professionals, is seeking a delivery driver to transport materials to customer sites in a safe and timely manner. You will load, secure, and unload materials, maintain accurate delivery logs, and provide excellent customer service on each stop.

Responsibilities include operating delivery vehicles over 26,000 pounds, complying with DVIR/HOS, and joining a team committed to safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• CDL A license required or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience; 2 years preferred
• Must be able to read and speak English well

Responsibilities

• Load or assist with loading and securing product inside the vehicle
• Deliver orders to customer sites and position vehicle for loading/unloading
• Maintain logs of deliveries including weights, mileage and locations
• Serve as customer service liaison and resolve issues as needed
• Perform safety checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness
• Operate handheld devices for DVIR/HOS compliance
• May perform credit/product return pickups and related paperwork
• Operate material handling equipment as needed
• Adhere to safety procedures and participate in safety meetings
