Job summary

Builders FirstSource, Inc. is seeking a professional delivery driver to operate and deliver materials to customer sites. You will load, unload, and secure goods, verify orders, and maintain clear delivery logs while providing excellent customer service on every trip.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, a clean MVR, and the ability to read and speak English. You will perform safety checks, complete pre/post trip inspections, and work in a production environment with safety at the forefront.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 21+ years old
• Valid driver’s license and Class A CDL
• Pass MVR and obtain DOT medical card within five days of request

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders to specified delivery site and secure loads
• Operate delivery vehicle and forklifts as needed to load/unload materials
• Verify order details and maintain logs of deliveries and mileage
• Serve as customer service liaison and resolve issues as they arise
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks
• Use DVIR/HOS-compliant handheld devices and complete pre/post trip inspections
• Potentially perform credit/product return pickups and related paperwork
