Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a delivery driver to transport and deliver materials to customer sites. You will load/unload, verify orders, and maintain logs, while serving as a customer service liaison and adhering to DVIR/HOS rules.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED with a Class A CDL, a valid driver’s license, and a clean MVR. Safe operation of forklifts and compliance with safety procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year delivery driving experience; 2 years CDL driving preferred.
• Valid driver's license and Class A CDL.
• Pass MVR; DOT medical card within 5 days of request.
• Less than 5 moving violations in the last 5 years.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Load or assist with loading and securing products inside the vehicle.
• Deliver orders to customer sites and unload them safely.
• Verify orders and maintain logs of deliveries (weights, miles, locations).
• Serve as a customer service liaison and resolve issues as they arise.
• Keep delivery vehicles clean and perform routine safety checks.
• Use handheld devices to ensure DVIR and HOS compliance.
• Maintain hours of service logs and pre/post trip inspections.
• Operate forklift or other material handling equipment as needed.
• Attend safety meetings and follow procedures; others may be assigned.
