Job summary

Builders FirstSource, Inc. is seeking a professional delivery driver to transport materials to customer sites and support loading/unloading as needed. You will operate delivery trucks over 26,000 pounds, ensure on-time, damage-free deliveries, and maintain accurate logs.

Requirements include a High School diploma, a valid Class A CDL, clean MVR, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and excellent customer service. Training and safety programs are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license and Class A CDL.
• Pass MVR and obtain DOT medical card within 5 days of request.
• Less than 5 moving violations in the last 5 years.
• Basic math & measurement skills; ability to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders to customer sites in a vehicle > 26,000 pounds; assist with loading/unloading as needed.
• Ensure on-time, damage-free deliveries; protect product and customer property.
• Maintain trip and delivery logs; verify orders against invoices.
• Serve as a customer service liaison; resolve issues as they arise.
• Perform safety checks on vehicles and operate hand-held devices as required.
• Comply with DVIR, HOS, and hours-of-service requirements.
• Operate forklift or other material handling equipment when needed.
