Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older with a Class A CDL.
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
• Able to work flexible hours and weekends/holidays.
• Capable of working in various weather conditions and environments.
• Able to climb in/out of a semi-tractor and climb ladders in feed tanks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver feed as scheduled with a positive attitude.
• Disinfect trucks and wear biosecurity attire.
• Complete driver logs and daily inspection reports.
• Assist in other areas of the Feed Mill as needed (hauling/grinding/dumping).

Our Oakwood Division in Paulding County, Ohio, breeds hogs and turkeys while providing the best care to our animals in a small team setting. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Feed Truck Driver to join our Class A CDL team in Woodburn, Indiana.

$$ 3,000 SIGN-ON BONUS $$

(Sign-On Bonus to be paid as $500 a month for 6 months. Rehires qualify a year after termination)

SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 7:00am-4:00pm with the possibility of working weekends and holidays

STARTING HOURLY RATE: $23.80 with the potential of increasing to $24.30 after 90 days

ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include:

• Delivering feed as scheduled with a positive attitude
• Properly disinfecting trucks and using proper biosecurity attire
• Responsible for completing driver logs and inspection reports on a daily basis
• Assisting in other areas of the Feed Mill when needed, including hauling grain, grinding grain, dumping wagons and trucks, and mill cleaning

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age and have a Class A CDL
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience
• Must be able to work flexible hours
• Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions as well as dark, dusty, conditions
• Must have the ability to climb in and out of a semi-tractor approximately 20 times a day
• Must have the ability to climb feed tank ladders, approximately 30 feet high at a 90 degree angle, at a minimum of 10 times a day
