Job summary

Builders FirstSource, the leading supplier of building materials, is seeking a Class A CDL Driver for Spanish Fork, Utah. You will transport and deliver materials to customer sites, comply with DVIR/HOS, and provide professional service while maintaining safety.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, 21+ years old, and 1 year of delivery driving experience (2 years preferred). You will load/unload, verify orders, log deliveries, and support customers as a liaison.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Class A CDL license required.
• 21+ years old, valid driver’s license.
• 1 year delivery driving experience; 2 years CDL driving preferred.
• Pass MVR report; DOT medical card within 5 days of request.
• Less than 5 moving violations in last 5 years.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Basic math & measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders to specified delivery site.
• Maneuver vehicles into loading/unloading positions; assist loading; ensure safety of product and customer property.
• Verify order details and maintain logs (delivery duties, weights, mileage, locations).
• Act as customer service liaison and address concerns.
• Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and perform safety checks.
• Use handheld devices to ensure DVIR and HOS compliance.
• Maintain hours of service logs and pre/post trip inspections.
• May operate forklift or non-motorized material handling equipment.
• Attend safety meetings; suggest safety improvements.
