Job summary

Builders FirstSource, Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL Driver for the St George, Utah area. The role involves delivering materials to customer sites, loading/unloading, and ensuring on-time, undamaged deliveries.

You will use hand-held devices for DVIR/HOS compliance and perform routine vehicle safety checks. The position requires a valid Class A CDL and at least 1 year of delivery driving experience, with 2 years preferred.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years old, valid driver's license and a class A CDL license.
A minimum of 1 year of delivery driving experience; 2 years preferred.
Pass MVR report.
Obtain a DOT medical card within five (5) days of a request.
Have less than 5 moving violations in the last 5 years.
Basic math & measurement skills.
Ability to read and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

Load or assist with loading and securing product inside the delivery vehicle.
Deliver customer orders to specified delivery sites and assist with unloading.
Verify order details and maintain logs of deliveries (weights, mileage, locations).
Serve as a customer service liaison and resolve customer concerns.
Maintain cleanliness and perform safety checks on delivery vehicles.
Operate hand held devices for DVIR/HOS compliance while not driving.
Perform pre/post trip inspections and hours of service logging.
Possibly handle credit/product returns and related paperwork.
