Job summary

Builders FirstSource in Layton, Utah, is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver building materials to customer sites and operate heavy delivery trucks over 26,000 pounds. You will ensure on-time delivery, document loads, and uphold safety and service quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 21+ years old
• Valid Class A CDL license and clean MVR
• DOT medical card required
• Basic math & measurement skills

Responsibilities

• Load or assist with loading and securing products in delivery vehicle
• Deliver customer orders to specified sites and help unload safely
• Verify orders and maintain delivery logs with weights and mileages
• Serve as customer service liaison and address concerns
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks
• Operate hand-held devices for DVIR/HOS compliance
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and related paperwork
• May handle credit/product returns and forklift loading/unloading
• Follow all safety procedures and attend safety meetings
• Other duties as assigned
