Job summary

NorthStar Energy Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Class A CDL Driver to support our gas construction operations. Safely operate dump trucks, vac trailer-mounted units, and other heavy CDL equipment while assisting field crews with excavation support, material handling, and installation work.

The role is based at 3340 Roy Orr Blvd, Grand Prairie, TX 75050 and runs Monday through Friday. You will perform inspections, logs, and routine maintenance, travel to multiple sites, and collaborate

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL with air brakes (No "L" restriction).
• Tanker Endorsement preferred.
• Experience operating dump trucks, vacuum trailers, or other CDL equipment.
• Previous experience in utility, pipeline, gas distribution, construction, or heavy civil environments preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings including DOT drug testing and MVR review.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A CDL vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and safety policies.
• Transport equipment, materials, tools, and supplies to project sites.
• Operate vac trailer-mounted units, dump trucks, and other CDL-regulated vehicles as required.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle logs.
• Assist gas construction crews with daily field activities and labor tasks.
• Load, secure, and unload materials and equipment safely.
• Support underground gas utility installation, maintenance, and repair projects.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, crew members, and project staff.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and report deficiencies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Travel to various job sites as needed.
