Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a Class A CDL with double/triple, hazmat and tank endorsements.
• One year of driving experience in the last three years or completion of FedEx Freight Driver Development Course.
• Must have an acceptable MVR per hiring standards.
• Must meet DOT regulations under FMC 391.
• Proficient in basic math and documenting freight.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations and perform pre-trip safety inspections.
• Secure freight inside trailers using pallets, straps and rope.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers for pickups, deliveries, and service leads.
• Complete required freight documentation accurately.
• Work safely and comply with DOT regulations and company policies.
• May assist with road driver or dock duties when needed.
