Energy Jobline ZR is recruiting for an experienced Class 1 Welder / Fabricator to join an established engineering and manufacturing business in a day-shift role. Salary is dependent on experience, with strong benefits and opportunities on high-quality engineered products for major projects.

The role requires proven Class 1 welding experience, MIG/MAG welding and the ability to work from engineering drawings while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Class 1 Welder / Fabricator.
• Strong MIG / MAG welding and fabrication experience.
• Experience working from engineering drawings.
• Experience producing welds to demanding quality standards.
• X-ray / radiographic weld inspection experience or exposure would be a major advantage.
• Experience within heavy engineering, pressure equipment, oil & gas, energy, combustion, process equipment or similar manufacturing environments would be beneficial.
• A strong focus on quality, accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities

• Class 1 welding and fabrication to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Producing high-quality welded assemblies and fabricated components.
• Preparing, fitting and welding materials accurately.
• Working to required welding procedures and quality standards.
• Carrying out visual checks and maintaining consistently high weld quality.

Were recruiting for experienced Class 1 Welder / Fabricators to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business. Salary is dependent on experience and level of qualifications. This is a day-shift position offering a strong basic salary, excellent benefits and the opportunity to work on high-quality engineered products for major industrial projects. Were looking for a skilled welder/fabricator with proven experience producing work to a high standard. Class 1 welding experience is essential , and previous experience working on welds subject to X-ray / radiographic inspection would be highly advantageous.

The Role Youll be responsible for:

• Class 1 welding and fabrication to engineering drawings and specifications

Hours Monday Thursday: 7:30am 4:00pmFriday: 7:30am 1:00pm This is currently a day-shift role .Some overtime may be available depending on workload, although this is not guaranteed .

Salary & Benefits £33,000 £40,000 per annum DOEPlus an exceptional benefits package including:
