Job summary

LCBC Church in Clarks Summit seeks a Production Technician to prepare, maintain, and operate audio, video, and lighting for weekend gatherings and a mid‑week rehearsal. You will recruit and train volunteers, manage the location tech team, and collaborate with the Worship Leader to create excellent environments that foster life change.

Responsibilities

• Build a culture of growth and excellence within the location's tech team.
• Recruit, train, and incorporate volunteers to the tech team.
• Care for and point volunteers toward a growing relationship with Christ.
• Cast vision by sharing stories of Life change and celebrating wins.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and errors.
• Prepare weekend gatherings and own the location's auditorium.
• Adapt systems to accomplish new goals and schedule volunteers.
• Resource other production environments at the location such as Student and kid Ministry.
• Operate, and train volunteers to operate sound, lighting and video equipment.
• Assist with special events (Global Leadership Summit, funerals, graduations, Christmas & Easter).

Clarks Summit Worship Leader

Hours Commitment

6 hours per week, every other week alternating with 1 other Production Technician. Hours per week include Sunday gatherings and 1 mid‑week evening rehearsal.

Objective

To promote life change by developing relationships and leading volunteers to create excellent environments by preparing, maintaining, and operating audio, video, and lighting systems throughout the campus location.

• Resource other production environments at the location such as Student and kid Ministry
• Operate, and train volunteers to operate sound, lighting and video equipment
• Assist the location with special events throughout the year, above and beyond the weekend such as: Global Leadership Summit, funeral, graduations, Christmas & Easter Gatherings

Required Skills and Capabilities

• Innovative and self‑leading, able to work with and motivate volunteers in a team environment.
• Ability to make decisions in time‑sensitive, live productions.
• Ongoing physical ability to set up/tear down equipment, climb ladders, and lift equipment overhead.
• Ability to recruit, train and lead people.

Evaluation

The Clarks Summit Production Technician will meet regularly with the Clarks Summit Worship Leader for planning, goal-setting, progress updates, and general coaching. A formal Action and Development Plan will be completed and reviewed three times throughout the year.
