Global Accounting Network is seeking an experienced Claims Specialist to manage a diverse portfolio of Technology E&O and Media Liability claims from assignment to resolution. The role requires strong investigative judgment, technical claims expertise, and collaboration with insureds, brokers, attorneys, underwriting partners, and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant claims experience involving Technology E&O, Media Liability, Professional Liability, Cyber Liability, or related specialties.
• Legal experience and understanding of liability claims considered.
• Experience investigating and managing claims involving complex coverage, liability, damages, litigation, or contractual issues.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a portfolio of primary and excess Technology E&O and Media Liability claims through entire lifecycle.
• Investigate coverage, liability, damages, and exposure; develop strategies for high-severity matters.
• Handle related specialty claims including Cyber and Privacy/Network Security matters.
• Maintain clear, timely communication with insureds, brokers, defense counsel, and internal stakeholders.
• Partner with underwriters, actuarial, legal, and claims leadership to evaluate exposures and resolutions.
• Select and direct defense counsel and external experts as appropriate.
• Participate in mediations and settlement discussions; apply negotiation and decision-making skills.
• Monitor regulatory developments, technology trends, and emerging exposures.
• Escalate significant developments with analysis of exposure and reserving considerations.
• Maintain thorough claim documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
