Walbec Group in Wisconsin is seeking a Claims Specialist 1 for in-office work five days a week. You will investigate, document, and resolve Owned Property, Equipment, Builder's Risk, and related claims across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities include entering data into Origami RMIS, establishing reserves, reviewing policies, and coordinating with safety and project teams. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience handling property, equipment, or builder's risk claims preferred.
• Familiarity with risk management processes and insurance concepts.
• Proven analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigates Owned Property, Equipment, Builder's Risk, and other claims of simple to moderate complexity.
• Documents and maintains complete claim files and enters information into Origami RMIS.
• Establishes reserves and evaluates coverage, liability, damages, and recovery opportunities.
• Coordinates site inspections and communicates with project teams and external partners.
• Reviews bills, estimates, invoices for accuracy and relevance to the claim.
• Maintains confidentiality of claim information and supports cross-coverage as needed.
