Job description

The Claims Product Owner position is responsible for defining the product roadmap and capabilities for the development of an enterprise product and services for all ACE markets. The role involves communicating strategic and tactical goals aligned with business line drivers.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Creating and implementing strategic initiatives to achieve company goals for the assigned product.
2. Leading the process of setting business requirements for functionality and navigation, and managing the product backlog.
3. Prioritizing the backlog to meet business objectives.

Job Duties

Develop and communicate strategic initiatives, develop innovative solutions based on market trends and customer feedback, manage research, analysis, testing, and product launch processes.

Research market opportunities, ensure product alignment with the organization's strategy, evaluate financial impacts, and develop product initiatives that complement other programs.

Coordinate with the product team to translate high-level priorities into backlog items, create user stories and acceptance criteria, and prioritize the backlog.

Participate in agile ceremonies, escalate issues, determine release plans, and monitor defect reports.

Identify new product opportunities, develop and maintain the product roadmap, and oversee goal setting and progress evaluation.

Build relationships with external vendors and partners, produce stakeholder presentations, and stay current with industry knowledge.

Lead usability testing, create QA plans, and prepare for product launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in Claims business/process or related field
• 1-3 years supervisory experience (preferred)
• Experience in project management, KPI management, budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning
• Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of UI principles and data analysis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a deadline-driven environment
• Customer-centric mindset, Agile experience, Scrum certification preferred

The salary range starts at $129,400 and can go up to $172,000. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k), pension, tuition assistance, PTO, wellness programs, and employee discounts.
